Animal print inspired part ii - leopard print small cup (second piece in the group photo)

Inspired by the leopard print, this collection was handbuilt using slab and coil techniques to bring the natural flows of the print to the pieces. Made with the intention for you to feel the textures of clay - the Earth, the exterior was left unglazed so you can feel the textures of the Earth from black, brown and tan clay bodies whenever you hold the cup in your hand. 

Handbuilt with 3 different clay bodies using coils technique, the patterns can be seen inside out and also at the bottom of the cup. The flows of the pattern are a reflection of the movements and directions of the clay when the pieces were made, which made it impossible to replicate. The exterior was left unglazed and the interior was glazed in clear gloss finish to show the beautiful colors of the clay and for easy cleaning. 

This cup's size is perfect for drinking espresso but it is up to you how you use it. The more you drink, the more it exposes the pattern which helps elevate your everyday living.
