Each piece I make holds a story—shaped by intention, chance, and sometimes a happy mistake. The soft blue-grey in these two pieces was originally meant to be sage, but somewhere along the way, I may have mislabeled or misread. Still, they turned out beautifully. They remind me how unexpected outcomes can still be full of charm and meaning.

There was a time when I saw life in black and white, but the more present I become, the more colors I notice. Everything feels like a spectrum now. Green is just blue and yellow. Sage is green and grey. Grey is black softened by white. All of it is connected - just like we are.

Handbuilt with care, these vessels feature a soft patchwork of muted clay tones - blush, sage, stone, and cream—layered to evoke the gentle quiet of natural landscapes. Their matte surfaces are left unglazed to honor the tactile beauty of raw clay, offering a grounded, earthy feel in hand. Both pieces were made from white clay and colored with less than 10% mason stains.

The ashtray’s interior is finished with a clear gloss glaze for easy cleaning, while its outer surface remains unglazed to maintain a smooth, organic texture. The planter is left fully unglazed, allowing it to absorb excess water when needed - supporting your plants while deepening the connection between vessel, earth, and intention.

Whether used for sipping, planting, or simply admired, each piece reflects quiet elegance, natural complexity, and the simple beauty of imperfection.
