Handbuilt check inspired oval plate

One of a kind check inspired plate was handuilt with love in New York city. All colors are from clay. The interior was glazed in clear gloss finish to show the colors of clay. The exterior was left unglazed and sanded to 400 grit before glaze firing to maintain the beautiful earth tone of the clay and give you a nice touch when you’re enjoying your everyday rituals. It is a perfect gift for your loved ones or yourself to make their/your everyday extraordinary.

I use different clay bodies to hand build my stuff to show how beautiful the clay itself is, so it is impossible to remake the exact same cup. Each handbuilt piece has an organic feel/look and is truly unique just as you are. If you like a specific one, maybe it is meant for you 🫶🏼
