FW’25 - beyond duality series - checked cups

beyond duality explores the space in between where contrast doesn’t divide, but deepens.

Through form, surface, and imperfection, the work resists “either/or,” and instead honors complexity, fluidity, and coexistence.

Part of the  beyond duality series, these vesses explore identity as something fluid, defined not by borders, but by relationship. Three tones move through each form and meet softly without hierachy or fixed edges, creating a rhythm of separation and connection that resists simple binaries. The cups invite reflection on coexistence, where different is present, connection is felt and individuality remains open,..

Made with black, white and brown clay body. The exterior was left unglazed and fired to cone 10 reduction. Food safe, microwave safe & hand wash recommended.
