Inspired by the organic stripping of zebra patterns and the quiet power of nature, this collection was handbuilt using slab and coil techniques to honor the flow of form and pattern.
Each piece was made with intention ~ to let the clay speak, to let your hands feel. The exteriors are left unglazed so you can experience the contrast between the groggy black clay and the soft white clay, raw and alive.
From the uneven rim of the ashtray to the ripple-like lines across every vessel, this set carries the spirit of instinct and movement ~ each curve shaped slowly, one coil at a time. Interiors are finished with a clear gloss glaze to reveal the clay’s natural color variation and to make each piece functional and easy to care for.
